In added to the hot spots, “Hanging coffins” also marked in Sagada. This is the traditional way of burying their love ones and ancestors. Literally, they hanged the coffins to the edge of the cliff or mountains or sometimes it can be seen inside the caves. The higher the coffins, the higher the position of that person in their society, to show respect for what they’ve done.

These places are very prosperous in mountains, Mt Ampacao and Malboro Hills are some of them that are good in camping and picnic for the whole family and barkadas. These places are very safe but you should trek it up to the top for you to feel the breeze of the cold and fresh air.
